Good News For All Black Berry & Other IOS Phone Users

To all blackberry  and other IOS users, who also happen to be ardent whatsApp addict, this is to happily inform you that the initial deadline set by the new owner of whatsApp Mark Zuckerberg  for the expiry of its application on certain phones like the blackberry, IOS among others has officially been shifted to June 2017.

All users now have ample time to still enjoy whatsApp services on their phones and possibly take their time to make provisions for the eventual termination of the services without been placed under undue pressure.

This is also a plus for the manufacturers of the affected phones as their customers who cannot do without whatsApp services can now patronize them without fear of limitations on proper utility.

It was gathered that when whatsApp made the announcement to terminate its services on certain phones, the prices of the affected phones nose-dived and the sales dropped as customers frantically shifted their purchasing powers to other products that could accommodate the use of whatsApp. Some customers were reported swapping their phones while others sold them even as the prices dropped.

This extension maybe connected to the recent video calling services added to the list of whatsApp’s many other features to give customers a more satisfying feel of the application.

The latest update to the popular messaging app is designed to stem competition from the likes of Skype and Apple’s FaceTime. This means that users can call one another with real time video.

The one-to-one video calling will become available to all users on Android, IOS and Windows devices in the next few days, WhatsApp said.

With the update, users will be given the option to start a video or voice call when they tap on the phone icon in the top right hand corner of a conversation.

The new feature is the second addition in recent times to whatsApp’s video and photo sharing features.
